* | [DISKLABEL] SUN: Fix signed int usage for sector count | Jeff Mahoney | 2006-08-26 | 1 | -1/+1 |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The current sun disklabel code uses a signed int for the sector count. When partitions larger than 1 TB are used, the cast to a sector_t causes the partition sizes to be invalid: # cat /proc/paritions | grep sdan 66 112 2146435072 sdan 66 115 9223372036853660736 sdan3 66 120 9223372036853660736 sdan8 This patch switches the sector count to an unsigned int to fix this. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! |
