* [PATCH] MTRR suspend/resume cleanupShaohua Li2005-07-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | There has been some discuss about solving the SMP MTRR suspend/resume breakage, but I didn't find a patch for it. This is an intent for it. The basic idea is moving mtrr initializing into cpu_identify for all APs (so it works for cpu hotplug). For BP, restore_processor_state is responsible for restoring MTRR. * [PATCH] swsusp: clean assembly partsPavel Machek2005-06-251-9/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes register saving so that each register is only saved once, and adds missing saving of %cr8 on x86-64. Some reordering so that save/restore is more logical/safer (segment registers should be restored after gdt). Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
