* [NET]: Conversions from kmalloc+memset to k(z|c)alloc.Panagiotis Issaris2006-07-212-5/+2

* [IrDA]: Use alloc_skb() in IrDA TX pathSamuel Ortiz2006-07-213-5/+6
| | | | | | | | | As pointed out by Christoph Hellwig, dev_alloc_skb() is not intended to be used for allocating TX sk_buff. The IrDA stack was exclusively calling dev_alloc_skb() on the TX path, and this patch fixes that. Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <samuel@sortiz.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* [NET]: fix-up schedule_timeout() usageNishanth Aravamudan2005-09-121-6/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | Use schedule_timeout_{,un}interruptible() instead of set_current_state()/schedule_timeout() to reduce kernel size. Also use human-time conversion functions instead of hard-coded division to avoid rounding issues. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
