* | genirq: replace irq_gc_ack() with {set,clr}_bit variants (fwd)Simon Guinot2011-07-071-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes a regression introduced by e59347a "arm: orion: Use generic irq chip". Depending on the device, interrupts acknowledgement is done by setting or by clearing a dedicated register. Replace irq_gc_ack() with some {set,clr}_bit variants allows to handle both cases. Note that this patch affects the following SoCs: Davinci, Samsung and Orion. Except for this last, the change is minor: irq_gc_ack() is just renamed into irq_gc_ack_set_bit(). For the Orion SoCs, the edge GPIO interrupts support is currently broken. irq_gc_ack() try to acknowledge a such interrupt by setting the corresponding cause register bit. The Orion GPIO device expect the opposite. To fix this issue, the irq_gc_ack_clr_bit() variant is used. Tested on Network Space v2. * arm: Fold irq_set_chip/irq_set_handlerThomas Gleixner2011-03-291-2/+1
| | | | | | Use irq_set_chip_and_handler() instead. Converted with coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
* arm: Reorder irq_set_ function callsThomas Gleixner2011-03-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Reorder irq_set_chip() irq_set_chip_data() irq_set_handler() to irq_set_chip() irq_set_handler() irq_set_chip_data() so the next patch can combine irq_set_chip() and irq_set_handler() to irq_set_chip_and_handler(). Automated conversion with coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>

* ARM: SAMSUNG: some GENERIC_HARDIRQS_NO_DEPRECATED build fixesLennert Buytenhek2011-01-031-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | When GENERIC_HARDIRQS_NO_DEPRECATED is enabled, a number of struct irq_desc members stop being directly accessible, and need to be accessed via the irq_data struct instead -- this patch fixes up the plat-samsung sites that still access those members directly. * ARM: SAMSUNG: Convert irq-uart to use new irq_ functionsMark Brown2010-12-301-18/+18
| | | | | | | | | | Convert to the new irq_ versions of the IRQ operations. As well as the textual substituion of irq_data for the raw IRQ number we also convert the register base lookup to in s3c_irq_uart_base() to pick the irq_data up directly. * ARM: SAMSUNG: Move IRQ UART handling for newer devices to plat-samsungBen Dooks2010-01-151-0/+143
Move the handling for the UART interrupts out of the s3c64xx specific code and into plat-samsung so that it can be used by all implementations that need it. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
