For binutils-2.22 make check-gold was broken. This patch reverts
4dd978c332b01f700fb83a8ea57043fe08557093 and applies
3dcb6e6fd79152c6baa321d2af8892b714cad958 instead.

gold files are not in trunk yet. Upstream is in progress.
